The KACUG specializes in the IBM compatible PC, offering help to all members, in all areas of computer use. This includes all popular operating systems such a Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows Me and Windows XP, both Home and Professional versions. We expand from operating systems into any software programs that are of mutual interest to our group, such as spreadsheets, word processors, graphics programs, HTML editors, Internet browsers such as Netscape Communicator and Microsoft Internet Explorer. Within our groups collective expertise, we also offer help with hardware problems and general computer configuration.

Monthly agendas address areas of interest, determined by input from our group meetings. Our mutual goal is helping each other to learn as much as possible, from the basics to the most modem technological developments. All persons with an interest in computers are welcome, experience not necessary. The totally new user is equally welcome with the highly skilled user.

As a member of KACUG you will be entitled to attend all meetings,  run for office and participate in the voting on all major polices and officer elections,  subject to the KACUG bylaws.

You do not have to own a computer to become a member.
